The game initially starts in a small window, if you make it fullscreen and you accidentally press the left Alt key the screen will be cut to the upper left corner, press LAlt + Enter to make it fullscreen again
If you choose the widescreen option upon starting the game, the screen will be automatically cut to the corner, force it to fullscreen from the game menu
