The story is set a few days after Kioku and Kiryoku’s “Symbol of Mastery” examination.
After their adventures in the realm of Dreams, Kioku managed to restore the sleeping worlds and to escape from the domain of Sleep.
Unfortunately, this success depends on the sacrifice of his friend, now abandoned to dreams.
After obtaining a crystal that allows him to use the Keyblade, Kioku must go and talk to the Master Yen Sid.
When he finally has the power to wake up Kiryoku, he is given a new mission.
The darkness sows chaos among the worlds of the light.
The protective locks of the latter are unlocked by a dark individual.
From then on, the Heartless can enter and attack the inhabitants.
