Features
- 5 Gyms.
- Approximately 10 hours of gameplay
- Regional Sinnoh starters
- Triple battles
- Illusory walls: trees, cave reliefs, mountains, etc. can be found throughout Heberteria that are completely fake. That is, when you collide with them, they disappear and reveal hidden areas with great rewards.
- Clarity: Clarity is a trait possessed by all Heberteria residents. This trait refers to seeing reality with greater certainty, that is, seeing things that the average human being cannot see. The higher your Clarity, the more strange things you will see (spirits, angels…). This trait can be increased in different ways, but the main ones are: taking magic mushrooms (mini mushrooms and large mushrooms, which in this game will be consumable) and discovering the game’s lore, mostly written on the obelisks found in each town and city in the region. High Clarity will reward the protagonist in most situations, with extra NPCs, extra items, or tips against important battles among many other things.
Synopsis
A series of 3 legendary Pokémon are linked to random people until their death. This link grants enormous power to the linked people, provided certain conditions are met that few people know about and that are revealed during the game. Most of the linked people throughout the history of Heberteria die without even knowing that they have been linked to a legendary Pokémon.
The story revolves around how the protagonists (the player, Zuriel and Dara) try to achieve their personal goals while trying to stop the plans of the Ordonian Cult, which in many cases get in the way of their interests.
The protagonist has a strange dream at the beginning of the adventure, which will completely mark his/her destiny. When he/she wakes up from the dream, he/she continues with his/her life (which is quite normal: a typical boy/girl teenager who wakes up late in his/her town), and he/she will encounter various events that have a close relationship with his/her dream.
When leaving home, he meets his friend Zuriel, a very impulsive, rude, and somewhat stupid guy. He is talking to some very mysterious hooded guys, who we will talk about later. After fighting them, their parents decide to force them to leave home and see the world so they don’t stay in the town where they were born all their lives. When leaving the town and going to the next one, they meet a girl called Dara, who is intelligent, repulsive, and doesn’t have many friends (none).
Both Zuriel and Dara will accompany the protagonist during the adventure. Both have a very marked character development, which has various key points in the story that will probably excite the player.
The hooded guys are cultists who are members of the Ordonian Cult, whose objective is to turn the Heberteria region into a monotype, that is, that each person is forced to use Pokémon of only one type. There are many cultists who make up the organization and it has its own hierarchy, with recruits, commanders, and a leader. The Ordonian Cult will cross the path of the protagonist and his/her companions for reasons that are revealed within the game, and it will not be the typical villain team that everything goes wrong and they solve things with combat, they have well-structured plans and do not hesitate to kill whoever they need to.
