Pokémon Sage is a Pokémon fan-game built in RPG Maker XP and uses Pokémon Essentials (scriptset). It started on 4chan’s /vp/ (Pokémon) board in October 2012 as CAPX, which stands for “Create a PokédeX.” At the time, it was simply an attempt to collaboratively design a set of original Pokémon.
Story :
Professor Northington, an archaeologist and scientist, is obsessed with the myth of Quetzar, a Pokémon of incredible power that was said to bring advancements to the native people in ancient times. He sets out to find and reawaken it at any cost, but it was the arrogance and greed of people like him that caused Quetzar to seal itself and the legendary City of Gold away in the first place. Despite this, he finally manages to locate Quetzar and reawaken it, but the Pokémon is furious to see that mankind has not learned its lesson and unleashes its wrath.
